SecArchive

Our software solution SecArchive offers the following features for scan data signature creation and archiving in accordance with audit requirements:

  • Sample viewer for scan documents.
  • Viewer supports TIF (e.g. JPEG, CCITT compression), PDF (PDF/A-1, PDF/A-2), JBIG2, JPEG, etc.
  • Visual comparison for sample scan data and original paper documents
  • Legally binding qualified electronic signature creation for scan data using SecSigner.
  • Signature verification for created signatures.
  • Standard interfaces for document management system (DMS) integration.
  • SecArchive supports several smart cards and chip card readers. In particular, all smart cards and card readers suitable for the generation of qualified signatures in Germany are supported.

SecArchive Overview

SecArchive generates and verifies legally binding qualified electronic signatures and thereby facilitates document management systems without media conversion in accordance with audit requirements and German social law (SGB 4).

By signing and verifying electronic documents, integrity and creatorship for your electronic document can be proven at any given time.

SecArchive consists of the following components:

SecArchiveClient

SecArchiveClient offers a visual comparison tool (viewer) for sample scan data and original paper documents. If a sample is validated, SecArchiveClient uses SecSigner to create signatures for all respective documents with one PIN entry. Sample type and volume may be configured according to specifications.

SecArchiveApi

SecArchiveApi is generally used to integrate SecArchiveClient into the specific scan environment: The scan client may call SecArchiveApi using a DLL or a Java-API.

SecArchive inlcudes all cryprographic functions such as ISIS MTT conformal signature data object endoding for PKCS#7/CMS objects or Adobe PDF signature data.

SecPKIServer

The server component SecPKI-Server is used for signature verification including user authorization checks. This includes certificate verification based on certificate revocation list (CRL) and online status calls (OCSP).

Furthermore, SecPKI-Server realizes signature validity conservation by means of its (ArchiSig conformal) long term hash tree archive.

SecPKI-Server thus offers all cryptographic services for a long term archive in accordance with audit requirements. In particular, all requirements for German social law (§110d SGB4, §36, §40, §41 SRVwV) are being met by SecArchive.
